weekend puppies – growing fast

by Sharon Santoni
Gibson was extremely happy to see his pal Ghetto home for the weekend, they are both growing so fast.  Gibson remains the reliable placid rock, and Ghetto the feisty pint-sized tornado but they seem to appreciate each other just as much.
I just adore the shape of Ghetto, his outline and shape are so concise and neat – like a cartoon dog –  that I’d happily sit and draw him all day

And Gibson has the doggie face that you will love for the rest of your life. When I look at the last photo, I see a chocolate lab about 12 years old… the same look.

*** Hi! As a BIG-TIME dog-lover, I must say these two PRECIOUS ONES are just SOOO DARLING & really A*R*E SOOOO PRICELESS~~~ ESPECIALLY in the 2nd & 3rd pics from the last!!!

We have a "new" (now 8 MONTH old) pup, a German Shorthaired Pointer like her older sister Belle, who is an 8 YEAR old GSP (we've always had GSPs, as have everyone ELSE, who has a "dawg" in our family!)… Sweetheart Belle's soooo "e*a*s*y"~~~ and the pup??? Well, she's a DOLL, but/and she sure does have A LOT of E*N*E*R*G*Y!!! (I/we had forgotten jus HOW MUCH!)… In fact, I'd say He overdosed her on ENERGY when He created her!!!

ENJOY the puppyhood times!!!~~~ As you probably already know, it can be soooo much fun (at times!!!), and sooo much trouble (at times!!!)~~~~ And, in the end, it's ALL WORTHWHILE!!! (Right down to the last "chewed-up whatever"! Grins!)…

Sending blessings to all,
Linda in AZ * (plus hubby, "the Belle-girl" and "Marnie"!)…

Gibson really is growing like a weed!!! Gosh, it seems like you just brought him home. He has a BEAUTIFUL face! I can see Ghetto would be the perfect subject to draw. I bet he doesn't stay still for two seconds though. It looks tlike they are becoming great friends.

Gibson is so beautiful.. it's been a long time since I've owned a dog.. my last were a German Sheppard and then a Rottie.. I'm a big dog person but when I moved to Florida I chose to get a 4 yr old cat from the shelter…that little girl is now 16 years old and I've been seriously thinking of a White Lab…your photos have me really thinking now!
Beautiful pups you have!

That little Terrier is sooooo tugging at my heart strings! Last year I swore no more little dogs. They get all over the furniture, they poop everywhere just to show you they can and they kill the chickens, but that Terrier……oh it makes me remember a little one I had growing up and how sweet they are.

sigh

Love the photos! You only have to look at his paws to see how big he will be!! My retriever had the same size paws and he is big!

What adorable fuzzy loves.
Gibson's face is so handsome — like a stately lion.
That little Ghetto— the name cracks me up — is perfect in his form, I agree!
