I'd like some of those hostas for a shady part of my garden. They are near impossible to find in California.

" A good way to spend an afternoon in May "
WOW! I can't even imagine how wonderful that has to have been. how beautiful.

It should be around 85 degrees F here and it is 43 F. I haven't planted one thing yet. Where has global warming gone?

Oh, my! How very lovely! A wonderful way to spend an afternoon, indeed! I live on the beautiful Central Coast of California, where it is also gorgeous, but we don't have chateaux. 😉

I just can't be trusted at a place like this. I lose my perspective and over-buy. But, no matter how crazy a week it always mellows me after just walking about.

I have to set myself a limit of how much I may spent, because I, too, cannot be trusted in a place like this. It's always the roses that send me over the edge!

What a lovely way to spend a spring afternoon. Gardens, flowers and a historic chateau…nothing could be nicer.

A perfect way to spend an afternoon! It has been rainy here, a terrible weather weekend, but I also love to see the spring landscape burst to life – it's so green it almost hurts the eyes!

I amost went (up the road) but it was COLD in that morning! Last time I went years ago I got a species (not hybridized)rosebush native to China considered as having one of the tiniest roses known. This is from a grower in the center of France known for their ancient and rare varieties of roses.
