[blank]Sit back, pour yourselves a glass of wine, or an extra cup of morning coffee and just enjoy this!
Some good friends of ours are selling their beautiful home, and I am very excited to show you some pictures …. come with me and I’ll show you around …..[blank]
[blank]This gorgeous 18th century house lies in the Seine valley, in a tiny sleepy village just ten minutes away from Monet’s garden at Giverny.[blank]
[blank]The house is large, with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a guest suite.
There is also a separate little guest house that is quite charming.[blank]
[blank]The garden is beautifully planted and maintained, with a heated pool, a chic little pool house and summer kitchen.[blank]
[blank]
[blank]My friend Patricia is a wonderful gardener, with a great eye for garden design, and the lucky buyers of this house will inherit mature roses, a picture-perfect little potager and stunning mixed borders.[blank]
[blank]Inside the rooms are bright and spacious, with a relaxed and friendly feel to the house – this is a real family home, ideal for somebody looking to live in Normandy full time or who dreams of a country home within an hour of Paris.[blank]
[blank]Patricia and David have carefully designed the garden for outdoor entertaining; be it dinner with friends, or a quiet coffee for two.[blank]
[blank]
David and Patricia are selling their home because they would prefer something smaller now, but they have loved their years here, and really enjoyed village life. They also appreciated being in a small village which still has a post office, and butcher and excellent schools.
If you’d like to know more about the house you can check the details here,
or you can email me or email David directly … [blank]

I know your friends will miss their lovely home but it will also make another couple's dream come true.
Well.. a family could buy it and the in-laws ..parents..stay in the guest house:)That would be us…:)
It's wonderful.The gardens suit the house to a T.
Oh Sharon…I love it when your friends allow us to peek into their homes.
How appropriate that this exquisite home and garden be so close to Giverny.

Feature: Love Where You Live"
Everyone should get to live so beautiful once in their lifetime
How magical it would be to live in that home. Perfect surroundings. The new home owners ( and I hope they appear quickly) will be very lucky.
Oh. my…. What a lovely place! The people who buy this home will be incredibly lucky. It would work quite well for my family: room for my twins, my in-laws, all the company we would receive. Roses, oh how I love roses….
Thanks so much for such a pleasant morning read, Sharon!
That home is a dream!

Wow!!!
Oh, this makes me just want to cry (in a good way). We were in Paris this summer, and visited Giverny. I want to go back now!!! This house would just be the most perfect place to live. While it is waaaay over our budget, the price seems reasonable for such an amazing house. Sigh.
Sharon, this is just stunning. I cannot believe it will be on the market long. Had I only won the lottery we could be having wine/coffee together.
Beautiful. If only………….Such a dream compared to my house in France;a pile of rocks with a leaky roof on top and and empty bank account to accompany it. Warm regards.
Oh my, what a lovely daydream. . . thanks for sharing it!
Hi Sharon what a lovely home and the garden just breathtaking. Thank you for sharing. Regards Esther from Sydney.
What a lovely house. And the gardens are exquisite. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Sharon
Such a lovely house and garden. I just wanted to say how I really enjoy reading your blog each day. I re-read the ''How you came to live in France'.' So romantic and adventurous. The picture of the letters tied with a ribbon made me smile as it reminded me of the letters I have saved from my ''long distance relationship'' I had for a while before I married the man I'm still with after 25 years, after we first met while he was on holiday. We spent a few months together then he was gone but the letters flowed between USA and Australia, before we got together again and married. My friends said it would never last. I love to hear how people meet the love of their life, especially when it involves international travel and time spent apart proving distance can make the heart grow fonder.
Cheers
Debbie
sounds perfect….and just enough bedrooms 🙂
hope you have been well – sorry I haven't commented in such a long while – I do follow you though!!
xo + blessings,
Anne Marie
Charming & beautiful in every way. The location is ideal. I believe it would be difficult to leave such a lovely home but I can understand the downsizing since I've done that myself. Thank you for this lovely post. Best wishes to your friends and the couple that will gain such a treasure. XO
Effectivement c'est une très belle maison… Je recherche une maison secondaire à acheter mais à Honfleur…
Je suis certaine que cette dernière trouvera preneur rapidement. Elle est très jolie et son jardin merveilleux.
Gros bisous
Bonjour! I absolutely love getting an "espresso shot of France" from your lovely blog. Thank you for inspiring me every single day. P.S. I have a very small plantation in South Carolina if your friends want to trade! They would have to love picking blueberries, though…!
Au revoir! Suzanne @ Le Farm
Such a charmer with beautiful gardens…you find the prettiest places Sharon.
I'd be more than willing to sell everything we own and buy this! 😀 Not so sure I could talk my husband into the idea, but I know my daughter would be thrilled to live in France. So welcoming in a beautiful setting. I'd be very happy gardening at this home.

It's completely wonderful–a real dream home.
Wow, what an amazing artist! I am drawn to her florals and still life work. "The earth laughs in flowers" is amazing. It would be an honor to receive any of her artwork!
