When I am in Paris, I love to get behind the scenes . To find out what makes people tick, to understand the magic.
Today I spent a wonderful afternoon at my favourite florist, Atelier Vertumne near the Louvre in Paris.
Besides being one of the very best places to buy cut flowers, they also offer classes. This would be such a fun thing to do with a few girlfriends!
The classes include a demonstration, and access to all the necessary blooms and materials to make up a divine bouquet to take home or gift. It can be arranged to suit your theme, or inspired by seasonal flowers and colours.
This is not just putting together a bunch of flowers, this is petal poetry shared by one of Paris’ most gifted floral artists.
Today I came away with a bouquet, but pretty soon I’ll be back for a class!

Love that place..
I am a lollipop for flowers and vases.. ranunculus and roses..lilacs and gypsophylia…poppies,..foxgloves..forget me nots..and little hanging vases!
I think that would be so much fun. Your take away is gorgeous and I think you could teach the class.

Beautiful. Spring has arrived in Paris. A most loevely shop. We still have some snow around.I keep looking for my bulbs to pop up near my front door.Ordering six dwarf French lavender plants last week for potting brought spring closer.
