brocante tour updates

2015 is set to be a wonderful year for the MFCH brocante tours,

today I’d like to give you an update.

I  first announced the tour programme for this year  a month ago, and since then information has been flying off the shelves.

First of all the group brocante tours.

The tour proposed in May is now fully booked, but there are still places in September.  This will be a wonderful trip, combining the pleasure of the country brocantes with the thrill of a big Paris fair too.

There will be a maximum of six guests, accommodation in a château and non stop brocante shopping, promising guests plenty of treasure to take home with them.

My first brocante and lifestyle tour in the Spring is also sold out!   I am so excited about this tour, in the south of france.

It’s a new feature this year, and will include visits to the private homes of three leading French designers and stylists, who are teaming up with MFCH to show you the very best of French living.  Of course there will also be plenty of opportunites to shop.

I had originally only proposed the Spring dates for the lifestyle tour, but there has been so much interest and enthusiasm for this new event,  unique in its kind, that I have decided to repeat the itinerary in late October.

October in Provence is a wonderful season.  The light is beautiful, the temperatures very pleasant and the crowds have gone home.

October may very well be my favorite month here in the South of France. The light is magical, the streets are empty and it is just chilly enough in the evenings to dig into some of my favorite meals!

I am sure that no matter when your clients sign up to explore with you they will have a wonderful time.

Congratulations on your well-earned success so far this year!

Your tours sound amazing, for anyone wishing to spend some time in authentic French homes and the surrounding countryside I would imagine there would be nothing better. I am not surprised they are selling out so fast. Have a great weekend.

Hi Sharon, I can just imagine how wonderful this would be….sigh….. I am sitting here watching a BBC production called Monty Don’s French Gardens he was just looking at Hermes roof gardens absolute beauty. It’s on for the next few weekends I can tell you every flower he has looked at so far especially Josephine’s roses I have thought of your beautiful bouquet and the pots and statues I think at how many of these you see during your brocante tours …. that’s it I confess I’m jealous. Thank you for sharing beauty. Have a wonderful weekend. Regards Esther from Sydney. PS this documentary is beautiful.

Hi Esther! We saw Monty Don’s series a year ago here in the UK. I loved it! My friend kindly bought me the DVD for Christmas and it’s there waiting for those cold days in winter when all you want to do is curl up in front of the log burner and watch Monty in France!! I particularly loved his visit to the Prieure D’Orsan – look up its website! A place I’d love to visit while visiting Normandy one day…. we can dream!

Hi Marian, another one to look at is Monty Don’s Italian Gardens….dreamy. My husband gets scared when I watch these garden beauties …. I get ideas. If/when you get to see the Italian gardens look out for the Judas Tree. It’s a funny world, you are staying indoors from the cold and here I’m staying in from the heat. Stay warm enjoy your weekend. Regards Esther from Sydney.

The tour looks and sounds like it will be outstandingly amazing. I hope to be able to attend someday soon to experience France in another manner. Sure everyone attending will have a very memorable time. The last picture looks like lunch at the castle in Chateauneuf-du-Pape!
