I was at Chatou today, the big brocante and antique fair on our side of Paris.   Glorious sunshine, a lovely lunch with a friend, and then just spent the afternoon catching up with dealers that I know and clicking my camera all the way!

This fair is definitely one of my favourites.  It runs twice a year and is one of the places I shall take my tour guests in September.

Few words to day, just the pictures of my favourite displays, it was hard to choose!

If you want to get across to the fair at Chatou, you still have time, it runs until the 15th March

Would love to know the September dates if available. I am beginning my plans for a 30th wedding anniversary trip to Paris next fall (2016) with my husband and would love to attend this particular Brocante fair if I can swing it. Thank you. Also, I plan on checking into some of the listings you have posted for B and B’s in the northern part of France. Your writing is as lovely as the your photos. Love Love Love your blog, it takes me to places and things I dream about. So glad to have found you.

When I lived in Paris this was my favorite! The ham sandwich was the meal I always looked forward to twice a year!

I am taking my family this morning. My children are looking forward to searching for play mobil sets and I get to look around with my husband. We will have lunch there, of course, and it looks like it is supposed to be a beautiful day again today. Your pictures have me so excited to head out today.

Everything looks so beautiful. We have our first outdoor Brocante in a nearby village tomorrow. I am not an expert, just enjoy exploring with the family but it should be fun. Have a great weekend.
