Treat yourself for Valentine’s

by Sharon Santoni

We didn’t need Frank Sinatra singing April in Paris to know that planning a trip to the City of Light in when the trees are blossoming and the days growing longer is a great idea!

I love Paris in the Spring.   The first buds on the trees, and that very special light over the river that feels so welcome after the grey days of winter.    And if one was to plan a trip to Paris in the spring, then it would be the perfect moment to take in an exhibition, to make the most of people-watching from the terrace of  a café and for some late dining before returning back to a favorite hotel.

For packing and selecting ensembles for different occasions, Halsbrook is one of my favorite online boutiques because they have a distinctly European curation of products and style. I like their guides , too. They seem to hit the right note of elegant and functional, with beautiful details. Here are some outfits I am looking forward to this Spring…

Thank you, I will be in Paris April 14, 2018 for several days and then onto Lyon and down south and then finish up with several days in Nice. I am so looking forward to my second visit to France. I love your blog and have been following you for years.

Thank you for all that you share with us from Florida, USA.

I don’t want to be a curmudgeon, but Paris is the City of Light. Not Lights.

April in Paris is wonderful. Much like May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December, January, February and March!!!

I always think of Coleman Hawkins version of April in Paris, which I love. Paris any time that it isn’t under water is good with me!

My friend are headed there in September after a week in Provence. I’ve always wanted to go in the spring sometime. It looks lovely.
