our september brocante and lifestyle tour

We’re only half way through the summer but September is approaching fast, and here at My French Country Home, the month of September rhymes with our Brocante and Lifestyle Tour.

We still have a couple of places left on the tour, which this year takes place from 25 to 30 September.    It will be five nights and six days of French living bliss:  a mix of antique shopping, good food, beautiful surroundings, great company, and added in to the mix some nice wine, good conversation, a floral class, a cooking class and a general getting-off-the-beaten-track that has become our speciality on the MFCH tours.

The tour kicks off with coffee at my house, and then we spend two days and three nights in Normandy, where I have some new addresses and  very special spots to share with my guests.  On the third day we head into Paris by way of Versailles, and we spend a whole day at the fantastic antique fair at Chatou.

In Paris you are free to stay at your preferred hotel, although we are happy to recommend our favourites of course, and we collect you each morning after breakfast and return you to your hotel at the end of the day, so you can enjoy a couple of evenings in Paris too.

Wherever we go, we are driven in comfortable vehicles, by our chauffeurs  who are legendary for their charm and good humour.  We take care of our guests from morning to evening, and the days run seamlessly, as we visit, take photos, enjoy great meals and shop to our hearts content.

We also help guests get their shopping home, be it organising the shipping of that perfect French armoire, or simply providing protection for packing some precious china into a suitcase, our aim is to make everything easy and enjoyable.
