I am simple, too! And love the simple loveliness and pairing of the tarnished silver and the gorgeous roses! Absolute perfection! Thank you for sharing!
Hugs,
Becky
Such a lovely arrangement of roses. I too take joy in the most simple of things. A beautiful bouquet always does it for me too. I grow roses as well and always enjoy cutting them to be brought inside. I particularly liked your use of the Sage in your arrangement, it gives the arrangement a nice texture and I think using the tarnished silver piece was brilliant. Just lovely, a work of art.

As simple as this….yes I am.

Hello Sharon
The tarnished container sets the stage and then your arrangement of roses to be followed by the highlight of sage makes it spectacular.
Have a glorious week

These roses are simply GORGEOUS…….could anything be better than this!!!
I love roses and any vessel that holds their beauty whether it be shiny or tarnished is fine by me.
Your splendid bouquet is sheer perfection.

A little cream, a dose of pink, a touch of yellow, a hint of orange…all together…simply divine!
Any kind and shades of roses any time maybe some lavender at this time of summer always a delight.Love from the glowingly hot Plain Hungary.Dorka http://www.dorottyaudvar.co.hu

Your lovely arrangement is the epitome of stately prettiness, Sharon.
We must think alike…camera in hand on sunday, I shot my favorite roses arranged in small glasses. Seeing your beautiful images, I will file mine instead, or perhaps they will find their way in a book to come… We grow the same variety of roses, i just love these full, gorgeous roses, and bring them to my nightstands, entry, library. The best part of summer is taking care of all my roses. Happy summer!
Gorgeous and yes some of the simplest things bring me the greatest joy.
I think you said it all.

Another gorgeous arrangement! I'm a simple girl at heart too. It's the little things that bring about the most pleasure to me. Flowers, a good book to read, my first cup of coffee of the day, old buttons, and a smile on a child's face bring happiness to me. 🙂
You did say it all with the subject of simplicity! Simple things that are yet gorgeous make me feel at peace if that makes any sense at all…but it is the way I feel when I see these lovely container of roses…merci and I hope you and your family have a blessed day!
Stunning! I am a simple girl… but I can't say I am easy to please. I am easily delighted by simple things though! For some reason I don't see this arrangement as simple. It is opulent… and full… and lush… and just so gorgeous!
stumbled on your blog via Things that Inspire. It is so beautiful and full of inspiration, thank you for the gorgeous photos!
I would be if I had gorgeous roses in my garden and your incredible talent at arranging them! Thank you for another beautiful bouquet for my inspiration board. Hope your summer has started out wonderfully, Cynthia

Yes, I am! I often buy roses for myself and make arrangements for my entryway at home, in tarnished silver vases. So classic, simple and gorgeous. I love your post today.

Never have gorgeous luscious roses and tarnished silver looked so incredibly beautiful!
Nothing would please me more than those roses, and tarnised silver is so much lovlier than too shiny…

This is beautiful!!! I look forward to seeing you at My Dream Canvas for my backyard party 🙂
Oh, that is gorgeous! I love tarnished silver…probably more than polished!
Your roses are just perfect…so lovely, Sharon!
Yep – THAT'S what I was talking about with the 'tarnished pot' (vs. polished cake moulds)!

I too have the same roses, and they bloomed so early this year. I ended up cutting all the lavender and putting it in my silver bowls to dry. Your Roses are very beautiful and I cannot go to sleep at night without reading your blog. Very peaceful! Someday I will get to your beautiful part of the world. Martha
PS: my face fits/blends better to it as well! 😉 😀
