Most years, as a family we holiday in Provence. My husband’s roots are in the south, and half the family lives in Provence, so it’s a joy to gather together to enjoy each others company, the sunshine, the rosé wine and the lovely slower pace of life.
By way of sharing that enjoyment, I’m happy to share our latest My French Country Home Box, which is a true homage to the Provençal region. Every carefully curated item captures the essence of Provence and brings a touch of the South of France into your home. Where shall l begin? Each time a new issue comes to me I feel as if I’m transported to another magical part of France. I love the recipes, have made a few, buy the books that are recommended and enjoy them immensely. Of course each story with lush photography captures the beauty and uniqueness of every place, person or event described. I dole the magazine out slowly so I can relish each section and think about it for a few days before I cannot wait to pick up the magazine and am on to the next delicious treat. I have been following you since you started your blog and was fortunate to meet you in Seaside, Florida for a book signing. You have always inspired me with your courage and love for gardening. I’m having major spinal surgery this Wednesday on our 42nd anniversary of all times. I had a dream of living in Aix en Provence. At that time, I’d barely heard of it. So I’m planning a trip there for next year.
We just returned from 4 weeks in AIX. Everything was just as you picture it! Already making plans to return next year. And don’t forget Cassis as a destination nearby.
Here in Canada there are many lavender fields. Never as nice as Provence but they will do in a pinch.

I was fortunate to live for 6 months in Aix-en-Provence. It was truly memorable along with the exquisite Provençal markets and scenery in the surrounding villages and towns. To receive one of the MFCH boxes would be such a delight!
