Floral Tours
Following the success of our floral tours in 2016, we are thrilled to offer two more tours for 2017. The new tours will focus on the shared pleasure of floral art and garden design, from a specifically French viewpoint.
I love to garden, I often talk about my own garden design and my flower arrangements on the blog and YouTube channel, and am always excited to discover new flower varieties and new floral art techniques, and share them with other like-minded enthusiasts.
Our Floral Tour is centred in Paris, benefitting from all that the city has to offer in terms of floral art. We also make the most of areas just outside the city, with visits to plant fairs and outstanding gardens. If you come on the spring floral tour you will enjoy a day at a major plant fair in the grounds of a Château near Paris, and if you take part in the fall tour you will visit two outstanding gardens in Normandy, a beautiful region, that I love dearly, close to Paris.
Our floral tours are perfect for the passionate gardener and flower lover,and of course for anyone who loves Paris in the Spring or Fall! The dates are as follows:
Spring tour – 18th and 19th May
Fall tour – 7th and 8th September
So how does it work?
Guests stay at a hotel of their choice in Paris and are picked up by our private chauffeurs each day. I keep these tours limited to 7 guests to preserve the intimate nature of the experience.
The tours include:
transport by chauffeur-driven vehicle during both days
a guided visit to the Paris wholesale flower market
a guided visit to a flower market in central Paris
breakfast, lunch and coffee each day
high tea at the George V hotel in Paris
a lesson with Clarisse Beraud, a prominent Parisian floral artist
and a vase or recipient for your own bouquet
In addition to the above, the spring tour includes a day at a plant fair in the grounds of Chantilly and the Autumn tour includes visits to two exceptional gardens in Normandy
The price per person for either of the floral tours is 1300 Euros.
You are welcome to join us alone or to come with friends. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed as we share our love of flowers and gardens.
