back in the swing – todays loot shoot

by Sharon Santoni
Well I’d call this a good start to the fall season for brocante fairs.  Out late at a friend’s birthday party, up ridiculously early, then home to prepare lunch for friends also just back from their holidays.
A most eclectic loot shoot ranging from box bushes for the garden, to a nother wonderful white tureen, to some stunning latin prayer books all in black, to a punchy ‘hermes’ orange ottoman; to pâté dishes; to street signs; to wooden boards; to monogrammed napkins; to vintage coffee balls etc …..

Loot is right! I'm just amazed at the seemingly endless treasure that you can find! I'm a little bit more than jealous. (Is that bad? =/)

Back in the swing is right! I would say you had a very good morning. The little champagne bucket is adorable and I love the wood dough bowl with the handle cut in. Then there is the ironstone… can we ever have too much? I say never!

Gibson and Ghetto together? I could barely get past that first photo to look at the loot but bravo, Sharon. Great goods as per usual. 🙂

Have a wonderful week…

You come back from vacation full force just by looking at all the loot from this morning. And of course, everything looks lovelier with Gibson and Ghetto in the picture.

Ah, don't mistake the two dogs as part of the loot for sale! (Just kidding; so adorable!)

What do you do with all the treasures you find? Do you have your own shop, or do you sell to others? You have a real knack for finding wonderful things…

I must admit that I often check your blog in hopes of just getting a glimpse of Gibson and Ghetto. They are so adorable. How do you get them to pose so beautifully for photos?

I am a devotee of your blog and it makes my day whenever I read it – a sneak peak at work, last thing at night of having a browse in the weekend.
