blue shutter loot shoot

by Sharon Santoni
Friends here for dinner last night, same again this evening.  Up early for fairs, children left right and centre.  Happy dogs.  A happy weekend.  Not much text, but I hope you like the pictures.
This week, Thursday actually, sees the start of my Fall Brocante Tour, when I’m looking forward to welcoming a group of guests  coming specially to find their own loot!    It will be an action packed four days, and I’ll be sure to show you what we get up to!
Maybe we’ll find some stuff like ….
old enamel street signs …
calendars, silver trays and buttons ….
silver egg cups that wonder about being mini flower vases….
[blank]
wonderful old wicker cutlery trays …. with the cutlery …
old pins or skittles, bleu blanc rouge!
egg basket, blue shutter
tureen and old wooden spoons …  and much much more!

Beautiful, Sharon!
I can't wait for cooler temps so that it's comfortable to venture out for treasure hunting here in Texas.
Enjoy your day,
Tina

Are you selling the silver egg cups, and if so how much are they, they are lovely. You have my email address from sale of stunning linen nightie?

Love the egg cups! Looks like Avril already has dibs on any sale. Not sure what skittles are (other than the rainbow fruit candy in the states)? Guess I will have to look that one up.

Love your photos of your loot shoot !I'm just looking around the area where I'm sitting 'chez moi' & can see so many of your finds staring at me, I feel so lucky to have already found them & I'm able to see them everyday. Wish my other half didn't think they were junk !!

Sounds like the perfect weekend Sharon. That blue shutter is quite gorgeous. Hubby and I quite fell in love with shutters on our European travels and do think Australian houses would benefit from them as well as double glazed windows.
Please give Gibson a big hug for me and the little one too…we don't want him to feel left out even though I haven't had the pleasure of meeting him.
