the last loot shoot of the year

by Sharon Santoni
What a weekend!!  A totally charming client has been here since Thursday evening and we have shopped!  Boy have we shopped!
Non stop from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon, one good brocante address after another.
Together we bought a huge variety of items ranging from  18th century bathtubs, to 1950’s chairs so popular in London right now.
Above is a picture of her loot shoot!!

We found pairs of chairs; folding tables; textiles; glass ware; the Most Amazing painted demijohn! and much, much more.

I’ll let you look at the pictures and hope that you enjoy them.  This morning was most certainly the last real fair of the year, so any lo

ot shoots I do between now and March will be sourced at local auctions and the like.

Don’t forget that this loot shoot is typical of the treasure found by each of my brocante buying clients.   If you are interested in shopping here for your store or for your home, just drop me a line and I’ll give you more information.

Today's Treasure by Jen November 18, 2012 - 7:36 pm

Your client is one lucky shopper. What fantastic finds! You know me, I love the mounted antlers but then there is the bathtub, the cafe chairs and that demijohn. Just when I was in love with all of that… I saw that mirror!!! Wow, truly spectacular! This is a beautiful loot shoot indeed! Looks like you even had great weather.

Wow so many wonderful treasures! Looks like fun, and like all good things they must end but only until next season. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, Sharon! So much to see here. What gorgeous treasures you've found. I'm going to send this to my friend who I'm hoping I can convince to come with me to join you for shopping in Normandy one of these days – she just bought a Norman-style home which needs a lot of love – renovations start next spring, so it may be another year before we can come visit you. But I'm sure with temptation like this she won't be able to resist for long! Have a lovely week! XO

You've done it again Sharon, wowed us all and i think it is a great idea, your new work of organising brocante tours and giving the client good advise etc, well done!
Would your client have all her loot shipped to anotheer country? also how much 'roughly' would you pay for a bath like that?

WOW! What a load of goodies! Your client sure made use of the time constraints and picked up some great things! I bet the both of you were exhausted from all the shopping! Ha Of course, for me personally I only become more energized as I go along oohing and aahing at all the loot! 🙂
