on the road in normandy

by Sharon Santoni

A hectic week, out and about, here and there in normandy.   It’s at busy times like these that I like to  keep my camera by my side, just in case …

Today I pulled off a small road leading into the valley to take pictures of this pretty château.  A private home, still lived in, but with gardens and grounds open to the public

Just love the splendour of the long alley of lime trees leading up to the château
Keeping my eyes open and finding everyday beauty …..
one of the things that makes me tick …

I'm glad to see the snow is gone. It is beautiful and blissfully cold this time of year, I know. Your photos are inspiring me to keep my camera along. xo Jenny

I love reading your blog because you do such a splendid job of finding the beauty and serenity in everyday life. Of course, living where you do, beauty is everywhere! Serenity can be hard to find in our busy lives but you seem to know where it lurks. Thanks for sharing your lovely photos; when I'm feeling a bit stressed I know I can always come to your site for a bit of inspiration and spark. Have a wonderful week!

And there is better place to find every day beauty than in France. I love the trips you take us on with your camera and forays into rural France. xxx
