April brocante tour is underway!

[blank] The guests for my April tour arrived in Normandy this morning and life is going to be pretty speedy until after the weekend, so I’ll just keep you updated with a few pictures of what we get up to each day ….  in fact today was so filled that I hardly thought to get out the camera:  …   we visited Monet’s garden at Giverny, we enjoyed a spectacular lunch at Les Jardins Plumes, and we shopped and shopped and shopped …. ![blank]

Have a wonderful time. You are in your element in 'hostess mode' so I know you will be thoroughly enjoying yourself, if somewhat exhausted, after the tour! Lovely the drawers in one of the middle pics.

Hi Sharon!!!

The tour looks great!!!

I love all the pictures and I swear(in a polite way LOL) that in the 3rd picture I see a turtle. You know how much I love history and the 2nd picture is so great!!! They all are, but, these two really caught my imagination!!

Thank you and I can't wait to see the rest of the tour!!

This is my own backyard for 25+ years now. But we're moving – they dug up the fallow field behind us in Berthononville and are sraying pesticides right on us. Moving to the Correze – there are grazing fields(Limousin cattle) so less spraying. Going to miss Giverny so much – it really is 'chez moi'.
Recognize the Hotel Baudy. Years ago The World of Interiors had a an article about the renovation of it and how it housed the American art colony that was coming to Giverny to paint.

I know that your guests first day had to be memorable. I've spent time at Monet's home…even in the rain, it is wonderful.
