Love this. I did a post showing apple blossoms at my farm a few weeks ago. You're right, they are wonderful!

Thank you for this. I would have thought apple blossoms to be the most plentiful; instead it is cherries.

Hi Sharon thank you for sharing I can literally smell the apple blossom from here it's beautiful and so are the other blossoms. I have not seen a quince tree up close and personal do they have a scent if they do I imagine it would be luscious. Regards Esther from Sydney. PS you have a wonderful way with photographs. I do believe when they say that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder

So beautiful! Thanks for sharing such glorious blooms! Spring has finally arrived in New Hampshire this week, thank goodness. The trees have budded,my tulips are flowering like crazy and I'm impatiently waiting for my crab apple tree to blossom, lol. It's a glorious May Day!

I'm looking out at the same show of colors going on in my backyard. The sea of pink and white blossoms from the apple and cherry trees. There are red, purple, pink, varigated, yellow tulips and daffodils everywhere. It's like a little piece of heaven…:)

Fruit flowers are often the forgotten flowers of the plant world. I absoluetly love them, even the delicate citrus flowers with their own beautiful scent. We aren't able to grow apples where we live but I remember I went to New Zealand when I was in my teens and my parents and I drove past an apple orchard with sheep grazing underneath the trees, the sun was setting and I just thought it looked like heaven! Thank you for the beautiful photos you take, they are a breath of fresh air and an escape for me when things get hectic and stressful xx Michelle xx

Apple blossoms are my favorite, too! I even had candied ones on my wedding cake as I am from Washington State (& I added bitterroot flowers for my Montana-born groom). Thank you for the lovely pictures.

Your area of France is a little ahead of us. Our orchard has just started to bloom. All of the blossoms are open on the pear trees but the apple trees have yet to open. Such a beautiful sight when in full bloom.
