autumn, a new camera and subscribing to the blog

by Sharon Santoni
Could not resist stopping the car this afternoon as
I drove down this beautiful forest road
– seemingly alone in the world!
So yes, these shots are taken with a new camera ….. and no,
I’m not entirely sure it was the right choice.   Hmmmm…
Seems to me that a new camera must be like riding a new horse;
it takes a while to find the right buttons to press!
I stayed with a point and shoot – because I’m lazy! – but moved to
Lumix on a whim …
let’s just say, the jury is still out .

The new camera is great. I live in Chicago, and almost every morning I start my day by looking at and reading your blog. The photos are glorious and your stories great fun.

The pictures with your new camera look fantastic, shooting into the sun something I haven’t mastered yet and the last one of the red leaves with the faded background is a winner for me. I think we are all alike when it comes to using a new camera, we feel safe with the familiarity of the old one.
Love the new look.

I had the same problem when I moved to lissyparker.com. The problem was finally solved, but 5 subscribers ‘disappeared.’ Luckily they contacted me about the problem and all is well.

I just love your way of making me discovering my own country and our beloved Normandie! A dream for someone who works in a tower in a cold business area… Your new blog seems great (the previous one also was great : the reason why we all are your followers!). What a good idea your nice give away (even for a french woman who has so much to learn from you)! Nat

Dear Sharon
I sent a comment on your beautiful photographs almost as soon as they appeared. But my comment hasn’t. Maybe, the new system ate it? Anyway, love the photos, you have the eye of an artist – the colour, the light, the framing. The new camera must be doing something right too!
Will subscribe to go in the running for your fabulous shopping tour. Though
guess I don’t stand a chance with the Very Rev. Dr Terry in the competition!
Best wishes, Pamela
