when the dogs show up on facebook in my garden

by Sharon Santoni

Today on the MFCH facebook page we received our 200,000th like, and I am beside myself with gratitude.    I have never asked for a like, and certainly never bought a like, and yet people are kind enough to stop by to see the pictures I share each day.

Yesterday evening the light here was beautiful, and the dogs in playful mood, so I filmed them fooling around in the garden.  The result is this very amateur little one minute film, accompanied by one of my favourite Charles Trenet songs.  I hope you enjoy.

So today more than ever, I want to say thank you to my readers, here on the blog; on instagram  and on facebook.

Photo shoots for the book are in full swing right now, and life is pretty busy at the moment.  I’m not able to post as often as I’d like on the blog, but this hectic-ness will soon be over, and I’ll have loads of new things to tell you about.  Thank you for your patience.

Gibson is so laid back! Emmett is at soccer but I know he’ll love the video of his buddies. BTW I mentioned you in a blog today with a link.

How delightful Sharon & a great BIG congrats to you! Reminds me of Sally Field at the Oscars, “you like me, you really really like me” & YES we do, very much!
Ghetto is such a little dickens just as I thought. You have a 2 ring circus going for you! Thank you for this!

Sweet Sharon….Seems to me that you are in the midst of a creative flurry. Many things are stimulating your spirit and it is exhilarating and exhausting all at once. Stories, films, songs, btw Charles Trenet is just fantastic, Life is rich and lovely. You seem to feel it somewhere deep inside. You have twinkling lights inside! Thank you for all that you do to share your heart with us. It is gracious of you to be sooo generous. I, for one, appreciate your giftedness. So if it takes a wee bit of time for you to gather your beauty together, wrap it up in a pretty pink bow and deliver your gift to us, I’ll wait. No problem. That is my gift to you. We’re good.♥

Thanks you for that happy video. We all need a laugh. Also, thank you for your beautiful blog. It is the highlight of my day to see all of the wonderful goings on in France and your home. It’s my escape to peek into your life and dream of wandering France in search of antiques and old homes. Someday.

Always enjoy your posts, not only did we see your lovely garden but this one had a bonus, that video of your adorable dogs really put a smile on my face. It tookk me back to when our pups used to plague their mother wanting to play all the time, then suddenly just flop down exhausted. I’ve missed seeing them. Looking forward to seeing your book.

Hello Sharon,

This is my first reaction after receiving your emails for a few weeks. Although I’m more a catperson I love watching your dogs have fun with eachother. They must have a wonderful life with you.
I’m a Dutch author living in the middle of the Netherlands. Just by coincidence I discovered your blog. Perhaps one day I can stay in your beautiful cottage for our holiday!
