MFCH Table Talks: Serena Crawford

by ally redmond

Today, as part of the MFCH Table Talk series, I am excited to offer you a sneak peek into a conversation with my friend and talented interior designer, Serena Crawford. Serena joined me for a live Instagram video, and you can now listen to our conversation via my Podcast.

An impressive trifecta of creative skills, Serena designs, builds and decorates houses – and their gardens – around the world. She also offers independent consultation for luxury boutique hotels and leads safari camps in her native South Africa. Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest, VOGUE Living Australia and Conde Nast Traveller, to name just a few.

I have long enjoyed Serena’s instagram account.  Her passion for life, and her ability to find beauty all around her is something that resonates clearly with me.

I sat down with Serena for a live instagram video recently, and we have saved this podcast audio from our chat for you to listen to again.

In this episode, you’ll hear us talk about our love of everyday beauty, the need to declutter our lives, ways to create a welcoming home for family and friends and how our children have learned from us (and vice-versa!). Don’t miss her tips and words of wisdom!

[…] For my new “MFCH Table Talks” series, I’ll be virtually inviting a guest – and you all – to my kitchen table, via Instagram Live. From friends, to partners I’ve worked with for My French Country Home Magazine and My Stylish French Box, to artisans who are experts in their crafts, my MFCH Table Talk guests will be inspirational people who I either know already, or who lead interesting lives that we’d like to know more about.  After the Live Instagram video is finished, the podcast of our conversation will be available here on the blog.  In fact you can already listen to my conversation with Serena Crawford, just HERE […]

I like S.C. even she has a bit an unusual charakter …I mean she is not a 08/15 person. Every room in her house as well her clothing , shows an exceptional taste . Thank you Sharon for these many interesting questions but did she canceled her instagram account? When I click on your link above it shows “this side i not available”.

I am very impressed with the interior of your house. We are also currently engaged in repairs, and the main task was to redo the bedroom and allocate a workplace, since this year I moved to work from home. But I came across this article https://doors22.com/glass-room-dividers/ , and it seems to me to arrange a separate area with the help of glass dividers – it’s brilliant
