Here we are at the start of the new year, and I am excited to tell you about our upcoming February box!
We have chosen a theme for this box that is dear to many people’s hearts – la cuisine. Most people tell us that their kitchen is the heart of their home. It is the place where we gather to cook, to share a coffee, to chat over a meal.
In our house, like in many, our kitchen is the room where we spend the largest part of our time. In fact, right now, I have left my office and am typing this from my kitchen, with a fresh cup of tea on the table beside me. And because these rooms are used so much and play such a large part in our daily lives, it is a space that I like to keep fresh and pretty. Along the windowsill, there are always a few pots of herbs plus jugs of fresh flowers or greenery.
During the Holiday season, the window was lined with white hellebore and white hyacinths that bloomed in time for Christmas Day. They have gone now and are replaced with a fresh batch of hyacinths, blue this time, and two bowls of paperwhites.
For this February box, we are very happy to bring you a collection of items that you will find both beautiful and useful for your own kitchen. Whether you cook regularly or whether you are simply happy to have a few pretty things to freshen up the look of your room, I think you will love this box.
Of course as usual there will be a special antique item in every box, and as usual, at this time of year, we are eager to introduce you to our new resident artist for the coming year of boxes. This year we will be hosting the talented artist Fabienne Delacroix who is painting four scenes for us to include in each of the four boxes for 2022.
And if you would like to try to win a box then I have good news for you!
We are running a giveaway over the next two weeks, allowing two people to win one of our February boxes.
To enter the giveaway is simple:
Just follow @mfchbox on Instagram and Facebook or leave a comment here if you do not have social media. For extra entries, comment, and tag a friend on the giveaway post on Facebook or Instagram! The winners will be announced here and on Social Media on the 21st of January – Good luck!

Growing up on the bare plains of Texas it may surprise some that I have loved the style, decor, and food of France. Now at 86 years old, I still keep up with everything French and have passed this love down to my four children and many grandchildren. Would love to receive the February box but as always I will try to copy the best I can, the look of every box.
I adore your boxes…..beautiful and so perfect..thank you in advance of course…you cannot buy class…either you have it or you don’t…you do.
Desde España deseo, tanto a tí como a todos tus seguidores, feliz año nuevo. Me encantan tus publicaciones.

I love your magazine! Thank you for the chance to win a box.
Bonjour! The kitchen (la cuisine) is my favorite room in the house and I love to cook and bake even though it’s not good for my waistline! I would love to win one of these boxes. My retirement pension doesn’t really allow me to subscribe to receive one of these lovely boxes.
Desde España,una seguidora fiel de su blog le desea un feliz 2022 y cruzo los dedos para ser la ganadora de su caja regalo.Sería un maravilloso recuerdo suyo. Un saludo desde Asturias (norte de España)
Far from home becouse of the pandemic I kept myself away from the kitchen. This room only remaind the time cooking with my parentes. To cease my homesick I decided to start cooking some of my mother’s recipies. And then send the pictures of the dishes to my family. It cost a few tears but I started to reconcile with that part of de apartment here in Santiago de Chile. Thank you for your creativity and your writtings. Bless.
Oh this would be wonderful! We are about to move into a different house, a house that is functional but very “cookie cutter.” Whereas I would love to somehow add some French character & design flare- starting in the kitchen as that is where I spend most of my time.
Happy New Year! Winning one if your lovely french boxes would be a wonderful gift! I appreciate your amazing lifestyle and your french inspirations. Thank you for always sharing with us so we can feel french in our lives too!
Hello Sharon. I just love your posts and the products you offer. I have ordered last 5 MFCH boxes and love every one of them. I am hoping for a safe, healthy 2022 to everyone. Use caution, be safe out there. I just hope COVID-19 goes away soon. It is cold here in Texas but at least we haven’t had the severe winter weather that the northern states are having.
Love your designs!!!!!
Would love to win. juudith
Greetings Sharon,
Yes I would love to win the February box this time . I am home recuperating from surgery so it would be a really nice thing. I have always enjoyed your other boxes & have shared them with friends.
Hope all is well with you.
Winning the February box would be a wonderful way to begin the new year. I am due for surgery but who knows with Omicron what will happen. But love being in my kitchen. And look forward to your posts.
Wishing you a great year. Erika
Of all the things I love about French culture, of course food and wine are number one! It is so nice to see so many people around the world appreciate and share this passion.
What a prize this win would be!
I would so love to win the February box! I love everything you pick! I am a great admirer and your taste is so tasteful and timeless! I love to cook and learned to many ideas and recipes from her! She was from Alabama and my grandfather from Bath, England. What a combination! However, she taught herself to cook gourmet foods and passed on her skills to me! What fond memories! Thank you for continued blogs and your magazine which I await getting it delivered! You are such a creative and entrepreneurial woman of my own heart. Happy New Year 2022. Blessings.
Being in the kitchen and cooking is the best medicine! My husbands cancer challenges and our anxiety are eased by cooking together and the best, sharing the meal we made together! May it be a happy and healthy New Year for us all! And, what joy it would be to receive this special February box!
I agree that the kitchen is the heart is the home. Bringing in beauty to this space is something I love and always look to the French for inspiration. This beautiful Feb box sounds just heavenly.
Everything French brings joy to my heart but the kitchen…that means shared love and memories!
Especially in these uncertain times, gathering for meals is everlasting family time. THE BEST !
Good luck to all any Happy New Year!!
I had the opportunity to travel to Paris in November and my husband and I spent the Thanksgiving holiday there though of course it is not a French holiday. Our hotel room came with a tiny ‘coin cuisine’ I had intended to use it to essentially make coffee, tea and perhaps heat up some soup. But the fresh produce and other edible fare at the nearby open marché were so beautiful and so abundant that I could not resist! I found myself lugging armfuls of vegetables back to the hotel and made the most of the ‘coin’ cuisine. As a bonus, our small terrace served as a larder because it was cold enough outside to keep things fresh! And the little fridge was just that – little! I have never won a box but really hoping to be lucky enough to win this one dedicated to la cuisine!
it would really pick me up to win. we are in the depths of cold, dark, covid and I have my mother in hospital with a broken hip so winning something pretty and useful would help my mood.

This is not duplicate info: I have not said this before!
It would be a delight to win one of your exquisite boxes!
I am thrilled with your website and I would love an opportunity to win the February 2022 box. I live in Oklahoma USA (own a small business) and we are limited on choices ( I feel like I forage every week for food) and there are very few places to find quality products for my home and wardrobe, let alone find anything French except maybe french fries. 🙂 Kind Regards, Cindy Molder aka “A French Fanatic living on a prairie”
What a delightful way to start off 2022!
I have a “French” pen pal that I have been corresponding with since the 1960’s. We just spoke a week ago. France is dear to me and reminds of less challenging times. To be able to surround myself with reminders of France and friendship would be comforting. I have been spending more even more time in my kitchen cooking for family. Having items of France how perfect is that?
What a wonderful giveaway during this time of unknowns. I would love to win this and share with my daughter. Thank you for the opportunity! I love your website and someday I will make it across the pond to France!
A 2022 kitchen refresh with French goodies would be wonderful!
Bonjour Sharon!
Our retirement home is open concept combining living, dining and kitchen area, so yes, our kitchen is truly the heart of our home. Your copper utensils grace the area above our stove, they add that certain something to the space. Of course, winning the next MFCH box would be fantastique!
We have plans to visit France in October 2022 and pray that covid has calmed down enough by then for international travel. Until then I make do with my French fix, reading my copy of “My French Country Home”.
Happy New Year!
Since I discovered MFCH and Sharon’s lovely posts on Instagram, they have become highlights in my days. Thank you for bringing such authentic beauty from your home and travels into our homes!

Bonjour
What a wonderful surprise to be the winner of a box of treasures! I would give it to my daughter for her birthday. I do follow you on Instagram – your pictures are gorgeous. Can’t wait for the February box!!
Bonjour et bonne et heureuse année, Sharon !
How thrilling it would be to win a box! For me, France and the kitchen are inextricably intertwined, having had a few French « mothers » who taught me about preparing food à la française. In fact, our souvenirs from France are always food and items for the kitchen. I long for the day when it will be easier to travel to France again. The pages of your gorgeous magazine allow me to do some armchair exploring.
Bien à vous,
Melanie
La cuisine. Perfect choice. Can hardly wait to hear back from you. Thank you for this lovely offer.
Thank you for the opportunity for a chance to win one of your beautiful boxes. Your blog and posts are an endless source of inspiration! And your choice of Fabienne Delacroix for artwork this year is perfect – her work is the epitome of beautiful French living.
I should be so lucky!
I was lucky enough to be gifted a box by my husband and I would love to be able to gift one to someone else so they can feel and share the joy of unwrapping it as I did. It was such a special treat for me and I know my goddaughter/niece would adore it as much as I did for her 30th birthday in February. She has just moved into a new flat and is surviving on basics in the kitchen. How lovely would it be for her to have some truly special additions from MFCH.
Thank you for the possibility.
There are few things in life that makes my heart beat faster than anything French! C’est Bon! Your boxes are true works of art and the themes are always spot on!
You have an absolutely beautiful website and your decorating skills are wonderful. The French have great esthetics. I would love to win the new box.
So excited for the February 2022 box – would love to win one for my daughter as she just bought her first home! Thank you.
It would be a dream come true to win one of your lovely boxes. My heart jumps for joy every time I see one of your posts. Thanks for hosting this contest.

In the past few years I have witnessed a country and world that I never would have believed could have existed, but there is always hope. And~~~~I truly hope I will be one of the upcoming Giveaway winners! New Year blessings to everyone!
I always love your posts!! I want to be like you!! I love your style and class!!!
Thank you Sharon for the opportunity to win one of the boxes! They are so wonderful and one of us will be very lucky to win a February box. Would that we all could have the means to purchase one but for many just not in our budgets. This could be our big moment! Thank you again!
February always makes me think of Valentines, hearts, and special celebratory meals. A perfect time for a MFCH box! Merci beaucoup.
My kitchen is the heart of my home. I am looking forward to updates in the near future. I enjoy your magazine immensely as it reminds me of the beauty of my many trips and the joy of exploring such a rich heritage.

I am a follower and subscriber of My French Country Home magazine, which I adore. Time relaxing with the magazine is my own quiet respite. We are currently in the final stages of a kitchen renovation. Your February box treasures would be a welcomed ( and loved) addition to our new space.
My closest friend of 65 years now has dementia. She loves France and all things French and I would love to be able to give her this box if I won it. Thanks for considering me and her!
I have enjoyed your MFCH magazine all year long. My husband and I usually travel to France once a year, my daughter lives in Joinville Le Pont, France. I get to visit with my two grandchildren. We enjoy exploring a new location everytime we visit. We were just in Normandy when your Normandy section in the magazine came out. I throughly enjoy revisiting some of the areas in your magazine. Beautiful photography! Would love to win a box of goodies.
Wow! Winning the February box would be the highlight of my year.

Thank you for the chance. I love the beautiful flowers in your kitchen! They are really inspiring!
I would absolutely love to win the February box for my daughter in law Laura Thompson, she is living in Paris with my son and I am missing them both so much from New Zealand. I’ve been following My French Country Home for the last year and would dearly love to gift her one of your beautiful boxes for her birthday.
We can all remember memories made in our kitchens. I recall my first batch baking chocolate chip cookies. I could not wait for the timer to “ding” so I could plate them for my family. Now many years later, my daughter and I spend the day making homemade spinach lasagna for our Christmas dinner. Our kitchens and our kitchen tables are sacred. Where so many lasting memories are made.
February is such a great month! Shortest month, once passed, spring is right around the corner, it’s my birthday month, expecting a new grandbaby, #18, and it’s a French Box month!
Oh my, to win the February box, would really brighten my world. I read all about each box, they sound so lovely. My goal this year is healthy foods and enjoying more kitchen time. What fun to use your special tools and smile

Coming from both a Czech and Polish heritage, I have the love of cooking and baking in my blood! La Cuisine is truly the heart of any home. The place where memories are made; heart’s are mended by the love in a Mom’s hands as she prepares cookies. As a child, we didn’t have much and we were never able to travel due to illness, but my Mom always creatively took us to different cultures by the meals she prepared, using the ingredients we could afford. I am thankful for my Mom’s love. I would be blessed to have my name entered into the February, La Cuisine box giveaway in honour of my Grandma who was French (We found her family when she was 95 years old.); and to give a lift to my Mom, the bravest, kindest, gracious, generous and loving person I know. Her faith is why I am still here today. Thank you for your beautiful heart of generosity. May the ones who need this “gift” the most, have their names drawn. Happy New Year and many blessings to your home!
I will be on home confinement in February following hip surgery at the end of this month. Once I’m ambulatory again, the kitchen will be one of my first stops. I’d love to combine some of your French treasures with my ongoing French studies.
I think Jo Ann Bell must be my hero. 86 impressive years old.
I am looking for my next home. I wake thinking french kitchen design, and go to sleep and dream of french kitchen design. The day all my copper comes out of storage will be a joyful one. Bonne Annee et Bonne Sante’!
Yes, my kitchen (actually a large niche for cooking, chatting, reading, typing, and more) is the most important space in my condo. I’ve enjoyed your blog for several years now, and would love to win a February box!
Sorry to have missed your visit to Dallas. I live in Houston, which was a bit far for a drive that day. Next time!
And Happy New Year!
I discovered your beautiful magazine and Instagram last year, and have delighted in the ambiance ever since. There is something about the French way of life as you portray it that encourages reflection, and gently prods us to slow down, enjoy the processes of creating, and to try always to live life thoughtfully and beautifully. The few moments it takes to choose the prefect cheese, and then to ensure it is served at the correct temperature, take little time but provide so much pleasure, and your articles and comments always gently remind me to try to live that way. I would love to be entered to win the February Cuisine Box, which would be a wonderful addition to my kitchen – always my favourite room, and the heart of my house.
La Cuisine! French cooking at it’s finest! Simple, fresh, wholesome ingredients that come from the garden or market. It would be an absolute treat to receive a February box and discover the culinary treasures inside. Thank you for your fascinating, beautiful website and all the informative inspiration it delivers!
What a special delight it would be to win such a beautiful curated box of treasures!
The French Country Kitchen is really no different than most elsewhere when examined piece by piece and checking the corners. Even the sparse kitchen has a few basics of spices. A salt and pepper shaker set, whether in clay, wood or worn silver, set aside a humble plate of my breakfast egg is lovely to soul and stomach. A kitchen towel tossed in the corner by an uncovered window frames the view. It is the attitude in the kitchen that makes it lovely, beautiful. Preparing foods for those we love becomes the art!
Hello Sharon,
Would love to win the February box!
Love your magazine and wish that I could find it herein Norther California.
Many thanks for your inspiration.
Lucy
Hi Sharon,
Years ago, I subscribed to your blog posts and since then have had the pleasure of watching your amazing transformation. Now, I look forward to receiving your beautiful magazines with gleeful anticipation. Since the onslaught of Covid my husband and I have not been able to travel to France as often as we would like, so your blog and the magazines have become my go-to for French-inspired creativity in home decoration and culinary endeavors. I would be delighted to receive one of your gift boxes, a tangible extension of your love of France. Thanks for all that you do to bring France to us!
Mary Anne from Austin, Texas
Bonjour! I have followed MFCH for years, long before the expansion of the Box and the Magazine. I love all things French, and was lucky enough to decide to visit France for a month when the country opened up to vaccinated travelers, this last Fall. I would love to win the February box and experience the wonderful contents.
I appreciate that I can enter without being on social media; after being hacked a couple times, I have given up on FB and Instagram. Merci beaucoup for this opportunity! Patricia
I always enjoy reading your blog. Happy New Year!
To win an MFCH Box would be a wonderful way to get to spring. The kitchen has always been my favourite room – the warmest and most relaxing room in a home.

Hello!
I was sharing the beautiful photographs on this page with my husband when he told me he has subscribed to the MFCH magazine for me as a Valentines Day gift. I am delighted! Your blogs, books, gift boxes and interviews all inspire me. I live in Western Australia and we have had a hard border between the other states and the world for over two years, so you are my very inspiring, reminder about the world out there. Merci!
