I am thrilled to tell you all that the November edition of our My French Country Home Magazine has launched! It is already available in digital and print and this is one that you will not want to miss! It’s feels surreal to say that this magazine is our 24th edition! We first started the magazine in January 2019, and have published every two months since then.

When I decided to launch the magazine I knew absolutely nothing about publishing, printing, distribution, paper weights or any of the stuff that you need to think about before you hit that Publish button! I often say that in life you have to start before you are ready, because if you wait until you are absolutely ready, then you’ll never get anything done. Having said that, it was still a very big step to launch this magazine and another steep learning curve for me. Today I love our publication and the team around it. We work every single day to source content, to bring you the best of authentic French living, and to introduce you to places and people who make France such a great place to live.

Here are a couple of extracts from the November issue. It is packed full of beautiful and inspirational photos. We share recipes, tips for Holiday decorating and of course a selection of stunning French homes. And here are some other items.

For this issue, we highlight the extremely talented, Jamie Beck, and the release of her new book, American in Provence. We sat down with her to talk about her living in the South of France, a look into her new book, and how it feels to share her creative life on social media.

Photos : Julien Fernandez / Amandine et Jules – La maison d’Elodie dans le Gers.

We have several pieces that show Holiday tablescapes and French homes ready to celebrate. This beautiful shot is by Julien Fernandez, working with the interior designer Elodie Segas.

fountaine bleau

Our Discovering Guide takes you to the charming town of Fountainbleau. A destination deeply rooted in French history from its royal château to its famous forest. Just an hour’s drive from Paris, look no further than our recommended addresses – from where to stay and eat, to all the best things to do. It is the perfect place for a weekend getaway from the busy life in Paris.

rooftops of paris

We then take you to the rooftops of Paris with Jérémy Pritchard, a man who is willing to take risks. Tired of shooting from the street level, he took to the skies, discovering that photographs taken from the City of Light’s rooftops lend an entirely different perspective. Paris by day is spectacular, Paris by night is even better, buy Paris by rooftop is the best of all!

putting the garden to bed

In this issue, we also learn tips and tricks on putting the garden to bed. The colder months require careful planning, even for the most seasoned of gardeners. Gardener extraordinaire, Edoardo Grassi, gives the best advice on how to protect your plants through the overwintering period and beyond.

There is so much more to explore in our November issue but I want you to find the rest out for yourself!
We ship worldwide, but if you prefer not to purchase a one-off issue or subscribe to MFCH Magazine, then you can purchase a digital subscription or find a copy at your local Barnes & Noble or Books-A-Million. You can also use our store locator to find one of the smaller boutiques that also carry our magazine.

I am filled with admiration for the way you have re-invented yourself, Sharon. From beginning a blog to this! It’s amazing! I purchase a magazine every time it comes out. We have a couple of local booksellers that carry it.

I thought I ordered the printed copy of the magazine for a year. I have not received the October or the November. Can you me with this?
