I’m happy to announce our May box giveaway! This May Box is all about spring and will be curated around the theme, Vive le Printemps. I love to live by the seasons, but I’m the first to admit that by the time we get to March I am totally over the winter, and longing to get to Spring!
I love the season because this is when I make plans for the garden, when I sow some seeds for the summer. I make planting layouts for the potager, and get excited to soon start dividing and replanting the dahlia tubers that have overwintered in the wine cellar all winter.
For our May box, we wanted to celebrate the spring, and we are including items that for me represent Spring, and the many little ways that it changes our daily routine here, be it in our wardrobe, our tablescapes or indeed in the garden.
As usual, we are very happy to offer a giveaway for this May box, allowing two lucky winners to be picked to receive their own ‘Vivre le Printemps’ box in a few weeks time.

Those daffodils are so gorgeous! Just what’s needed to cheer up our gloomy days here. A snowstorm every Friday for the past 3 weeks and today rain! It didn’t even melt the snow on the ground. There are still 6 inches on the ground! Thank you for the chance.

As you head into springs with those joyful yellow flowers we are heading into autumn. Well, according to the calendar we are but the daytime highs are still in the 30C’s! We haven’t traveled overseas for the last two years due to CV. Australia closed its borders several times and Western Australia, where I live, closed its borders to the rest of Australia and the World!
That’s all changed now and I have been studying your itineraries very closely! I love your Insta accounts and the little treats, like the video showing behind the scenes at the Dior workshops. We’re starting to make plans, which is very exciting.

Nothing says le printemps like daffodils, and few flowers are so lovely and life-affirming. They’re my favorite flower and also my birthday flower — THE birthday flower for March. I can’t grow them here but they come into our grocery store floral department and I’m first in line when they come in! I buy them as tight buds and watch the glory as they unfold and flood my room with the most wonderful golden color. They’re truly joyful.
For now I can only dream of going to France!
