We are very excited about the tours planned for 2017, this is going to be a great year!      Each tour is timed to make the most of a particular season here in Normandy and in Paris.   Each tour is limited in number of guests, and each tour is carefully planned to ensure that we get off the beaten track and return home with happy and long lasting memories; with new friendships and a real insight into authentic French living.

We start the season with our Floral Tour in May.    This tour was inaugurated last year when I hosted two groups, (one in the spring and one in the fall) and together we shared our passion for floral design and in particular flowers in Paris.  If you would like to get a feel for this delightful tour that is ideal for including as part of a longer trip to France, then I invite you to look at our video, showing my friend Clarisse Beraud, at work in her Parisian flower workshop.

Early Summer sees the launch of our new Luxury and Tradition tour.   We listened to clients who expressed a wish to sample different activities during their tour;  other ways of discovering some of the wonderful French traditions and secrets of French living.

For that reason we have put together a dreamy tour for the beginning of June, our new Luxury and Tradition tour that will include antiques; flowers; perfume; French cuisine; antique shopping as well as an introduction to several prestigious French brands who open their doors exclusively for us.

In September this year we host guests for our sixth edition of the MFCH Brocante tour.     I love this tour!  We spend six days together searching for antiques and brocante treasure at my favorite addresses in Normandy and Paris.   We stay at beautiful country manor houses, we enjoy lunches out and about.   We visit all my favourite local antique dealers and also take time to visit a big antique fair in Paris.

Besides shopping for brocante, we are also happy to include a half day cooking class with a French chef and cook book writer, and a visit to Monet’s garden at Giverny.    My guests come to my house for a morning coffee or afternoon tea, and time to look around the garden.   This tour is all about taking our time and while we shop we take plenty of time to visit some of the beautiful little towns and villages in this part of France.

If you would like more information on any of these tours, please don’t hesitate to email me here.    The brocante tour is already half full and we have some bookings for the floral tour and the luxury and tradition, but now is the moment to think about the spring and summer ahead of us, and how much fun it would be to spend it in France!

And if none of these dates fit in with your travel plans, and you have a small group of family or friends, then don’t forget that we are happy to offer you a tailor made tour, built around your own wishlist, and exclusively for you.
