We were so excited putting together our Stylish French Box number 3, entitled Summer in Provence’! We wanted to share the perfumes and atmosphere of the South, and the little details that I enjoy so much.
Choosing items for our boxes is challenging and interesting. We obviously have to consider size and weight, and take into account that we are not allowed to ship certain products such as perfume by air freight. We don’t want to repeat ourselves, and we try to stick to a seasonal theme for each box.
The Provence box has now arrived on doorsteps all over the world and for those who didn’t order, but who are interested to know what we included, it is time for our big reveal.
Below you will find images and information about the box contents, and if you’d like to see our customers photos, then pop over to the Box Community page and you’ll see that we have updated and shared many of their pictures.
In this box, we invited our customers to share their photos of the box on Instagram or on Facebook, and enter the ‘Share to Win’ giveaway, to try to win a November box for themselves or for a friend.
Without more ado, here are the contents of the August box ….
An Antique Key, because we love to include a little brocante item for each season. This key makes a lovely paperweight, or simply hangs from a door as decoration
A Bastide Candle : either in Figue d’Eté (Summer Fig) or Miel de Lavande (Lavender Honey). These luxury candles are poured in hand blown amber bubble glass from Provence. Afterwards the glass can be reused for flowers or water.
A Little Market Basket : This petite version of the traditional French market bag is ideal for displaying fruit in your kitchen, or toiletries in your bathroom, or simply to fill with gifts for a friend.
A porcelaine bracelet created exclusively for My Stylish French Box by our collaborator and ceramic artisan Justine Lacoste.
A body scrub, the gommage corporel, and white olive soap from Olive en Provence :both are made from an olive oil base and will reinvigorate, soften and protect your skin.
A natural summer scarf from Couleur Chanvre, made from completely natural french grown hemp in the seaside town of St Jean de Luz. We selected an olive green and natural linen color, one of which is included in each box.
Fleur de Sel from L’Epicerie de Provence. A perfect little pot of exquisite salt with a wooden spoon.
And , of course , a limited edition watercolour by artist Jeanne McKay Hartmann :
We hope you loved these items, of which some were made available in the US and beyond for the first time via My Stylish French Box. We are busily preparing our November holiday box and cannot wait to surprise you.
