We are promised a fine weekend here in sunny normandy. Hard to describe in words how beautiful the valley looks at the moment. Instead here are a few shots taken yesterday early evening.

Hello:
Yes, you are so right, what a beautiful setting. And all of the different greens are, indeed, very appealing. We do hope that you will enjoy a fun weekend!

Spring has really arrived in Normandy, here in Denmark we have still to see the leave emerge on the trees. But daffodils are in full bloom.
I always enjoys our photos of the landscape and countryside.

Breathtaking is the only word that comes to mind. OMG I would be walking around with my mouth on the ground all day..I am so visually stimulated by such beauty that my mouth would be agape all day long and I would take pictures nonstop. What beauty you are surrounded by!! Thanks so much for sharing and the little visual getaway!

Dearest Sharon,

It is for a reason that the Dutch have a saying; 'Living like God in France…'
Sure this looks like a paradise right now. Guess for you the spring is also the most beautiful season! Everything is lovely, castles are envelopped in green and color.
Enjoy your weekend!

sharon your trees are fully leafed out, was not the case in england and at home barely a glimmer of a bud….

Beautiful, beautiful images – just the right way to start a Sunday – with inspiration.

Tell me, are houses with such exterior symmetry and order (such as Château d'Emalleville) common in your area?
