early sunday brocante

by Sharon Santoni
Up at dawn, greeted by early morning mist caught in the valley
and a heavy dew on the grass.  Didn’t come back with very
much from my brocantes this morning, but oh boy, it was pretty.
small town brocante fair, with tables set up in front of the stone church
tables set up in the courtyard of a stone church
white wrought-iron gate with flowering tree behind
'N' monogram in a white wrought-iron gate
swans feeding in the shallows of a river
small porcelain tureens on a table
close up shot of porcelain tureens
metal teapot with blue stripe
metal teapot on a stone windowsill
you can see more about this old French coffee pot here
old linens and window sketches
antique linens and old sketches
Nearly tripped over this pile pf goodies that someone had laid out on some steps, bought the lot!
Two pairs of old, never used sheets and some wonderful embroidery canvas and tablecloth.
Happy Sunday to you all, may you each find a  treasure today!

Btw, I very much like your blog. France is so pretty. There are old houses in Australia that are lovely but never get featured- I'd love to in time capture their beauty and share them on my blog too.

Pretty is an understatement. i think EVERY thing looks twenty times prettier in a setting like that:) Seriously I would be happy just taking in all the scenery and beauty even if I walked away empty handed!
