I’m in love!!

by Sharon Santoni
A local farmer has made hay for me – while the sun shone –
and yesterday I drove to his farm to take a look at the goods!
This is what we do in the country!!
Totally fell in love with his cottage garden, a riot of colour,
and happy vegetables.  He looked fit to burst with pride
when I shyly asked if I could take photos.  Aren’t you glad I did?!

And proud he should be! He has a lovely garden. I can just imagine spending an entire morning in there.

Liese

Lovely cottage with beautiful roses. We absolutely adore the garden. You can tell he has worked diligently. It would be wonderful to be able to pick fresh vegetables.

It's perfection! I wish I could say the same about my garden – my friend and I have been working for a couple of weeks clearing out 2+ years of (my) neglect. "Before" pictures are on my blog and I hope to have some really good "afters" soon!

I'm sure he would be extra proud to read all the wonderful comments. It takes a lot of hard work to have such a beautiful garden, but what a garden! I love hollyhocks, and the poppies, wow!, everything is gorgeous. The veggies I bet would be something anyone would love to have on their table! Thanks for asking him so you could share his beautiful home life with us.

Beautiful photos…brings back memories of my Uncle's garden & farm. After lunch it was tradition to wander with him amongst his flowers & vegetables.
