summer storm approaching

by Sharon Santoni
A difficult day yesterday, trying to balance work obligations
with family needs –
you know the thing, guilt, frustration … GRRRR …. SIGH
Badminton on a summer lawn, children laughing, absences forgiven.
A menacing sky that is breathtakingly beautiful.
The frustrations of the day forgotten.

What a beautiful garden! This would not be a Normandy shot without the apple tree in the background! Thanks for sharing- -Veronique aka French Girl in Seattle

Spectacular!

Is that an apple tree we see in the 3rd photo?

What a bucolic dream your lovely spot is–and how wonderful that a dear family is pleased and happy to be its owners. A lovely symbiosis!

The sky is gorgeous Sharon time to batten down the hatches. I don't think Gibson is going to like it one bit!

Nothing like a good thunderstorm… assuming it's not too threatening. We've had quite a few lately.

Bucolic countryside that you live in!

Some days are never meant to be easy. But it's nice to appreciate the beauty in everyday…storm or sun! x

I love the play of the dark sky and the light on the flowers and old stone wall in the second photo.

Your garden is just beautiful. The storm looks a little ominous though!! Sorry you had a rough day…I hope the lawn games made up for it!

Sharon, with half a week behind us and the other ahead, these images are much needed! Now if we could get some sunshine, with all the rain, we will be able to enjoy the outdoors!
Hope your wednesday was wonderful!
