Autumn continues to be mild here, but we have vivid memories of last winter’s harsh drop in temperature and we are making the most of the forest on horseback before it gets too cold and slippy.
These are moments to savour, to remember. Moments shared with my girls, that they share together and that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
These are the images I’ll hang on to when I’m older and my children live far away, those happy privileged moments from their younger years.

Have a lovely weekend,

One of the incredible things about pictures is that it allows us to recapture a moment, a feeling, a time. The images open will open up your memory in years to come, and will replay the feelings tucked in your heart.
Enjoy your weekend.
Your pictures are indescribably beautiful, Sharon! I so wish I were there riding along side your girls!
Have a lovely weekend!
XO,

GORGEOUS place and photos… LOVELY!
Your girls are so beautiful, Sharon. Yes, I can imagine how satisfying it must be to know that you are giving them this bit of heaven before they head out into a harder world. My parents did the same for me and as you say, no one can take that away for you afterwards.
I have so many "hold it!" moments. Most of them are from my travelling, for which I am supremely grateful but I have them nearly every day! Something as simple as my honey reaching over to wake me up with a smile on his face can do it too.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend. I don't say enough how wonderful your blog is!

Hello Sharon
You are so right to capture all the happy wonderful moments. I have beautiful visions of my mother waking us up at 3 a.m. in Ireland when it snowed (something rare) She told us, all 7 children, to "get up and get dressed and let's throw snowballs", which we did till sunrise. Thank you for reminding me of that happy moment in time

Lovely images, and I see each one of them in a beautiful frame. The images that I keep in my heart, and the ones I wish had been captured, are of family dinners, long ago …
Beautiful shots – and what beautiful countryside to ride in. Normandy is so different from what he have here (picture Provence)- dry and rocky.
Ah, my freeze it moment….or should I say moments….A long hot evening and the sun is setting and all the colours change so beautifully. My gorgeous (now adult) babies suckling at the breast and their little fingers pat the bosom and they make happy little gurgling noises. Having a bull elk sitting by my tent and when I woke up we just stared deeply into each other's eyes and both knew we were at one.
I love your photos and melt into them each time. Beautifully done!
The post is very nicely written and it contains many useful facts. I am happy to find your distinguished way of writing the post. Now you make it easy for me to understand and implement. Thanks for sharing with us.
What a sweet day you had with your girls, Sharon. 🙂 Wonderful memories to hold on to – and I so appreciate you sharing them with us. Your photos took me back to a time 25 years ago when I owned a horse and loved to go horseback riding. He was an Arabian/Thoroughbred mix and so spirited. Great for barrel racing! I miss those days…. 🙂

My freeze moments – right now – our three boys − 11,15, & 17 – outside playing soccer on a warm Spring evening! Love it… Love them. ps I will get the camera out!
Oh, I wish I where not allergic to horses… It looks so beautiful!
Important, to take a moment and reflect… I had one yesterday alone with my dog on the woods, looking at a very old tree and admiring the nature.
Idyllic……It's simple moments like these when life "comes together" and has us counting our blessings. Warm wishes.
What a beautiful setting. I hope the weather held and you had a beautiful family get together. xo Jenny
