the perfect french château

by Sharon Santoni

This is most likely as good as it gets!!

In a Provençal village where we stay with friends each summer,  a château has been rescued, restored and  renovated to a finish that comes close to perfection.   It remains a private property, but photos are available as it is used for photo shoots and seminars.
In  June 2008 the remarkable transformation achieved by the owners was rewarded by the “Prix des Vieilles Maisons Françaises”  a prestigious prize created to recognise high quality restoration.

I don’t think I need say more than  patina, colour, light, space, proportion,  perspective and perfect taste.  For the rest I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

The Château de Moissac is available for for photo shoots, corporate seminars and  private receptions.

Hi Sharon….Probably one of the most beautiful Chateau I've ever seen. I would give anything to live there among all that beauty and stone! Nice hearing from you and hope you're doing well.

Hugs!

I am obsessed with chandeliers at the moment, so these images are perfect candy for me.

Absolutely stunning! And a distinct lack of any evidence of messmonsters 🙂 I guess that illusion of space would disappear in the blink of an eye should I arrive with troops in tow. How perfect to live a life of silent elegance vicariously through those photos. I may be a little afraid though were my real life to continuously resemble such monastical conditions 😉

I knew what chateau it was before I saw the name! It is my very favorite too and I am hoping to find the means to visit it at some point. The salon with the fire going is pretty much my idea of Heaven. Literally. Glad that I didn't miss this!

Bon week-end!

Is this chateau for sale? I found it on the books of one of the major top end estate agencies, Belles demeures or le Figaro, I think>
