first day of the brocante day – a quick update!

There are many details to be taken care of when organising a tour, but one thing I can never guarantee is of course the weather.ย  But it looks like this tour is blessed.ย  We have enjoyed bright warm sunshine all day, and so it is that with broad smiles we have made the most of

Giverny and Monet’s garden

pretty normandy villages

brocante stores all over the valley,

and in one we were even greeted with a plate of home made meringues!

and finally ‘home’ toย  the chรขteau, getting ready to go out for supper,

then back for a good night’s sleep

tomorrow is another day![blank]

Well, that's a tour I would not mind taking with you, Sharon. And if they even throw in home-made meringues, well… Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Sharon,
What a wonderful tour you provide your guests. I'm happy for you and your group that you are enjoying such nice weather. I'm enjoying the "virtual" tour with you.

I am so completely wishing we had taken this tour. I swear had I not recently had to have surgery I SO would have done this…today is my sister's birthday and we wanted to go SO badly!

Hope you do again next year. Because I WANNA BE THERE FOR THIS!!!!! So jealous and happy for everyone, though. Really really jealous though.

Tee hee, look forward to finding out lots more as the tour unwinds.

I'm glad you and your brocante hunters are having such perfect weather! I was just thinking that I would love to visit Giverny and Monet's Garden this time of years to see the dahlias. Looks like your guests have a wonderful adventure in store. Have fun, Sharon! XO

Oh Sharon….what a delight your friends must be having touring Normandy with you. These photos bring back such wonderful memories.

Perhaps one day I will be able to do this again.
