You have to know that I am pretending that I am there with you and guests. The photo's are superb.
Oh wow, today was even better than yesterday!
Just stumbled across your blog beautiful photos,
Dear Sharon,
All of this stuff is, I suppose, sort of nice and quaint (if you're into that sort of thing)….but it all looks used. Quite frankly, almost all of it looks as though it had been bought in a second-hand store. That's not hot.
I wouldn't want to have anything around me that anyone else had used or touched.
I don't get this whole French "brocante" thing & stuff. It's just not hot.
Sincerely,
Paris Hilton

Beautiful photos of this tour. Thanks for bringing us along the brocante tour through your blog.
Don't apologise! Can't get enough – such treasures. Just gorgeous! Have a lovely week.F
I wish to be there! Have a nice weekend, Geli

I recognize those places! I would love to be one of the members of the tour: brocante + eating french food + photos + arquitecture… what else can you ask for?
lovely pictures of Lyons la foret… a great recommendation you have us.
Love, Lore
Pictures will suffice – in fact if there was too much more detail I wouldn't be able to stand it. I don't want to know what you all ate in that gorgeous restaurant. It would just be too much for this very envious girl to take in. One day, one day. Have a great Sunday.
Oh, that looks so lovely! I wish I was there with you shopping, eating, and sight-seeing instead of here thinking about starting my second week of teaching for the year and still exhausted from the first!
Looks fabulous! xxpeggybraswelldesign.com
Hum, it's called antiques!! And the rest of us "get" it and absolutely love it. Bring it on!!
Okay, duh, just realized you're being tongue in cheek! It's still morning…I don't do mornings, lol!
Thanks Sharon for sharing all the delightful images from your fall brocante tour, it looks like the weather has been cooperating with you and has brought gorgeous sunny days. 🙂 The first image is so lovely!
Every time I read your blog it makes me want to pack up and leave the states.
Love it!
Kim
Lovely pictures….makes up day dream just a little also! Always enjoy your blog.
Sounds like you are having a fantastic time SHaron… as are your guests… and the loot…. fantastic… xv
You do know you make each and every one of want to get on a plane? These pictures are sooo beautiful, what fun!!
I'm having a great time catching up with the posts I'd missed while being away. As always, every single one up to today…gorgeous, looked delicious, fantastic…and Ella is quite a photographer. Beautiful pictures. And wonderful stuff from your brocante tours with your guests.
Dear David
Love this blog and the reports of the brocante tour and also the fabulous pics.
But have to admit that I enjoy your great sense of humour hidden in the tricky deadpan delivery! Very refreshing and Very cool! Always look forward to coming across your comments! Best wishes, Pamela, another collector of "used" things.
Looks amazing like the rest of the trip
No apology necessary Sharon. I love all that you post text or not.
Carolyn
PS loving travelling along as a virtual participant, not as good as the real thing of course, but lovely all the same.
You know I am living vicariously through you right now Sharon… bring on all the succinct posts you want… just keep those gorgeous (sigh) pictures coming!!!
Hey folks….
(1) I can't seem to get the "reply" response to work, so this is going to be out of the "thread".
(2) yes….I was joking. I don't, as a very general rule, sign-off as "Paris Hilton". However, it did occur to me, after posting that comment, that Sharon's blog has many readers who don't happen to be USA citizens and, thus, aren't necessarily aware of who (and more particularly, WHAT) Paris Hilton is.
For better or worse, we in the USA are all-too-aware of who she is…..her gorgeous-self is (and has been for about seven years, while she's dominated every tabloid and television-set)the arbitrator what is and is NOT "hot!" (she futilely tried to trademark "her" adjective, and I kid you not).
Suffice it to say that she would be the very-last woman to ever sign-on for a brocante tour in Normandy. Why waste your time at antiques fairs in rural Normandy when you could be cavorting and luring paparazzi in Dubai, St. Tropez, or Gastaad (sp?)?
amusedly,
David Terry
