Here’s a fun thing to amuse you this weekend …..
French national TV is running a competition to find the prettiest house in France. Twenty two properties are proposed from all regions of France and visitors to the website are invited to vote for the home they prefer.
On the site you’ll find a great selection of different architecture from mountain chalets to town houses to seaside homes to …. little houses in Normandy.
Now of course, dear readers, far be it from you to try to influence your judgement …..

among the selected properties is the home of my friend Christelle, whose christmas sale I showed you yesterday. Guests to my house will probably remember visiting her store in an annexe to her house.

Christelle’s place is a true family home. She is so talented that her house has already featured in books and magazines here, and is soon to be featured in magazines sold in the States.
If by an amazing chance she won the competition then her home would be featured in a TV programme and bring her some of the recognition she deserves.

Thanks for posting about this contest. What lovely homes! I voted for Christelle, of course. Although, if I hadn't seen the photos of her living room and other shots of the kitchen on an older post, it would have been more difficult to chose.

I had never heard of a "longere" (minus the accent grave) until I read about Christelle's home. So interesting. And such lovely decor. The living room is so welcoming and cozy. I voted for her!
