One of the real pleasures of having a blog is the opportunities it gives for highlighting the work of talented and creative people around me.
This theme has been continued in our French Country Home Magazine, where every edition includes an article highlighting a favourite artisan brand, and offering our readers an exclusive opportunity to buy their products.
For our current Artisans of France offer we are very happy to be working with Cire Trudon. One of the oldest candle makers in France, and whose fragrances are always present in my home. I use them in different sizes, a smaller one beside my bed and the regular size in my entrance hall and sitting room.
This offer actually sold out last week, but we have had a lot of demand, so we talked to Cire Trudon and we are able to let you know that there are a few more sets available!
I also love to give Cire Trudon candles as hostess gifts when we are invited to dinner. Everything is gorgeous about these candles, from the packaging, to the hand crafted glass containers, with its gold coat of arms label. And when the candle is finished I clean out the glass holder and use it for flowers , or pens on my desk – so chic!
I’m sure you know that trick for getting the last dregs of wax out of a candle holder you want to re-use? No? Oh well it’s super easy. Simply pop the jar into your deep freeze overnight, then the next day, use a pointed knife to gently leaver the remaining wax out of the jar! Done!
Their traditional candle comes in a pale turquoise box, with a dark green glass holder, and that is the one I use the most often, but a couple of months ago they brought out a spectacular copper coloured candle, and I fell in love! I use these along a fireplace, or outdoors in the evening, and the flame inside the candle holder makes everything shimmer beautifully.
You’ll be happy to know that we have put sets of the Cire Trudon candles together for you, and we are bringing them to you at lower than retail price. You can choose between our Harlequin set of four candles (the boxes are cream, dark blue, turquoise and pink),
or our Twin Set which includes that beautiful copper candle and the traditional blue boxed dark green candle;
or finally you can opt for our Two Plus Two set, that includes the beautiful copper glass, the cream box and a boxed set of two smaller candles, which incidentally make a wonderful gift for a girlfriend!
To choose which set you wish to order just click here, and use the drop down menu to find which set you want to purchase. We are taking orders for a limited time only, and we only have a certain number of sets to sell, so once they are sold out that will be it. The prices vary according to which set you choose, and they represent a big saving compared to retail prices in the USA or Australia. And what is more …. if you subscribe to our magazine, you get a further 35$ reduction on the price! Really, what are you waiting for?!
And just to give you the full information again about the contents of the three offers, these are the candles that are included.
