[blank]Despite the cold, I left the house before dawn yesterday and headed across country to check a couple of small fairs. It is still early in the season, and the freezing temperatures don’t encourage vendors to set up their stands, but I was pleased with the few bits I found.[blank]
[blank] Anyway back to the goodies I brought home yesterday …. I found a selection of kitchen items ….to begin with I was charmed by these old canisters…..[blank]
[blank]then by these wonderful wooden sieves ….[blank]
[blank]had to have this huge and beautiful soup tureen ….[blank]
[blank]
[blank]and this sweet pair of candle holders ….[blank]
[blank]
[blank]I even found a set of carving cutlers for the Sunday roast lamb …
and this sweet little teapot …..[blank]
Everything here will be in my store today, but if you want to email directly about an item or about brocante shopping here then just fire away!

What a lovely collection. Kitchen items tell much about a person and their lives. 6 inches of snow fell here overnight, your photo's remind me that Spring is coming, hopefully soon.
Sweet finds. The soup tureen is stunning!
Sweet finds. I hope they go to a good home. I always think they tell a story.

Wow! Love!
Sweet finds.
Very creative- beautiful photo.
Greetings from Poland :).
The carving set is so interesting. The center piece must be for holding onto a bone, I would guess.
So many beautiful treasures.
Perhaps you'd care to link to SEASONAL SUNDAYS. The link opens at 7 pm on Saturday evening.

Hi Sharon!!!
What a great collection of finds. Looks like you had a great time!!!!!
I love the soup tureen and the 2 candle holders!!!! I've been to a lot of
the 2nd hand shops, thrift shops and antique stores here in the Lower Mainland
(Vancouver, BC) and I've never seen a piece that is in your carving cutlers.
Can you please let me know what it is used for? It is the piece in the middle.
Thank you Sharon and have a great week!!
